Sarah Bedell is a Colorado based artist presenting her work under the name Bedell Studio. From a young age, Sarah showed a tendency for art with a habit of inventing characters and sketching her favorite Pokémon. In middle school, friends introduced her to cartoons and anime which influenced her developing style. Her skill quickly grew along with a practice of carrying a sketchbook everywhere she went and doodling in class. This passion led her to study art and pursue it professionally.

 

Currently, Sarah is attending Colorado College where she is expected to graduate in May 2024 with a major in Museum Studies and a minor in Performance Design. In college, Sarah has been exploring how she can lend her creative eye to museum and theatre design.

In her fine art work, Sarah enjoys playing with the elements of design to create collage-style compositions exploring entanglements of memory.

In her design work, Sarah seeks to spark feelings of magic and awe. She enjoys assisting behind the scenes on any creative project to add thoughtful design and polishing touches.
